This mixed media work is part of a new exploration in my work of ideas related to mysticism, in particular apparently paradoxical expressions like dissimilar similitude and I is an other. I'm interested in the degree to which these ideas can be approached through visual imagery.
My work covers a range of mediums including drawing, painting, printmaking and photography. I have been exhibiting regularly in Australia and New Zealand since the 1980’s and my work is held in many collections in both countries.
My drawing practice constantly shifts between working with traditional mediums and more exploratory approaches that test the boundaries of drawing and expand the scope of drawing processes.
