ARCHIVE 2009-2016. WRVAP was an artists collective initiated by Juliet Fowler Smith in 2009 in response to the proposed and now defunct Tillegra Dam near Dungog, Hunter Valley,NSW. In 2011 the group broadened its attention to other areas of NSW of environmental degradation with Noelene Lucas curating.
Core collective artists are Suzanne Bartos, Neil Berecry-Brown,Sue Callanan, Juliet Fowler-Smith, Noelene Lucas, Margaret Roberts, Toni Warburton and David Watson.
We worked collaboratively to produce events, exhibitions, publications and performance. We conducted collaborative research and research residencies to engage with grassroots activism to create artworks that acts as witness to specific local struggles to support the environment.

Additionally Ruby Davies, Bonita Ely, Christine Mc Millan, Ian Millis and Bridget Nicholson have also participated. Juliet Fowler-Smith and Noelene Lucas coordinated and curated the project.
