Found by coincidence on a walk in 2010. There were still a few abandoned industrial sites around in Sydney. At the time I thought this old printing press to be a nostalgic remnant of the era of mechanical reproduction. Now I feel nostalgia for a time when you could still find these traces of history.
Anke Stäcker is a photo media artist who lives and works in Sydney. In her practice she examines interactions and changes in the urban environment.
