Gareth is a poet, installation artist and publisher. Gareth’s first poetry collection Recipes for the Disaster won the national Anne Elder Award.

His immersive art installations involve poetic sound compositions, electronics, video, UV-light, and sculptural assemblages.

He has recently been awarded a place in the 2026 Bundanon artist-in-residence program.
