literacy Gap :- access to books texts still denied or made difficult for many girls- women & used as a form of control .. I see this piece as a short visual poem that highlights this disparity in access of past & present .
As a Re-emerging artist I gained a MFA in leeds UK 2000 . After a little hiatus I’ve been re establishing my art making practice and exhibiting work .
