This work references one of the most well known books in the world "The Bible". Throughout time The Bible has been read in many languages by millions of people, quoted and misquoted, used to control personal and political relationships while at the same time bringing comfort and hope to many.  
Now we have Donald Trump, the President of the most powerful country in today's world using it as a tool of propaganda and manipulation. His principles belie anything that remotely resembles the true meaning of Christianity although he is claiming himself to be to God and Saviour of the World. My painting is in the form of a prayer card commonly used in the Catholic religion. A Bible verse with a "Donald addition" floating amongst the clouds, where God resided looking down upon Earth. The acrylic "tablets" are a contemporary representation of quotes from Trump's Bible that has been made in China, marketed and sold through his website.
