This work explores the tension between nature and human impact through three painted wooden canvases. The raw, organic grain of the wood stands in contrast to bold acrylic paint, symbolizing the way human presence alters the earth—sometimes beautifully, often irreversibly. The vibrant strokes cut across the natural surface, reflecting industry, urbanization, and transformation. The untouched wood represents nature in its purest form, while the painted elements highlight the bold, sometimes damaging, imprint we leave behind. This contrast captures both the resilience of the earth and the undeniable force of human influence—a collision of raw and refined, permanent and fleeting.
I’m a Sydney-based artist specializing in painting, with a deep passion for capturing the world through vibrant color and texture. My work has been showcased in gallery exhibitions, and I create and sell my own prints. I’ve also had the privilege of designing immersive art installations for music festivals and leading workshops to share my creative process.
Nature, sound, spirituality, and my lived experiences are the driving forces behind my art. Traveling the world, engaging in meaningful conversations, and exploring how culture shapes our relationship with the environment have all inspired me to think more deeply about the connections between humanity and the natural world.
Through my art, I aim to share my personal perspective—one that’s shaped by these diverse influences. I want my work to invite viewers to experience the world as I do, full of rich color, subtle emotion, and a sense of wonder. It’s not just about what I see, but how I feel, connect, and reflect—inviting others to do the same.
