Bones on burnt earth, - earth once lush.
‘Ashes to ashes, dust to dust’. As one’s life moves closer to its destination the question arises, ‘what does one leave behind?’. A fossilised imprint in dried earth?
One can only hope for replenishment and renewal in place of the imprint left behind.
