The work is a meditation on grief through time. Grief, not in discrete and predictable stages, grief fading and withering, and resurfacing with sudden force. This work is primarily made from discarded and weathered fake flowers and cord These were gathered from bushland surrounding a local cemetery where the materials had blown. They have been deconstructed and re-built into new flowers that had never existed.
