I work as a painter and sculptor within the genre of the non-objective and geometric abstraction. My work is an exploration of repetition, process and random difference within uniformity, in which series of works are created by repeated combinations of simple elements. The repetition leads to inevitable imperfection as the systems break down.
My materials include paintings in either oils, gouache or acrylic on canvas, paper or cardboard; with sculptures based around the cube using cardboard, yarn, paint and timber.
