Emma Pressman

These paintings are my first ventures into ‘still life’ and explore misplaced or discarded objects and their unlikely relationships. These objects hold some sort of meaning to me. They have in one way or another found their way inside my home where they sit on display. Inevitably the objects may die or again be misplaced. The relationships between objects will change, yet are always captured in ‘still life’, different to real life.
