These three paintings part of recent research based on the deployment of planes around a constant number of folds. These colored planes are a first optical solicitation which is contracticted and stimulated by the haptic vision of labyrinthine texture.
In 1999, I participated for the first time in the Salon "Réalités Nouvelles" in Paris. This participatio marks a turning point in my work, which began more then 20 years ago. My painting the becomes resolutely constructed and geometric. The labyrinth that we see implicity in my work is a vestige of previous work but today it allows me to animate colors and encourage reading at different levels.
