Rae Boggs

The Times I Knew I was Queer

.

Hand sewn small quilt, ink on fabric, 29.7cm x 21cm, 2025

The project I will be working on is an artist's book that will be a in the form of a hand sewn soft book similar to a child's soft book. In the book I will be exploring childhood and gender, the times in my childhood when I felt queer but didn't have the language to explain my experience, experience that started in my home.
For exhibiting I'd like to exhibit the pages as they are complete.
