'Annika' has Wings
.
mixed media, 120 x 80cm
Anita Lever is a visual artist and art therapist working on Wangal lands. Her current practice explores recollection and re-storying by revisiting older artworks and reworking them into new object-based pieces to gain fresh insights and possibilities. She focuses on process-led artmaking, where materials and methods guide the work as it unfolds. Drawing on her background in art therapy, Anita examines how making art helps us remember, process experience, and create new meanings. Her installations invite viewers to engage with personal and shared memories through direct encounter with materials and space.
