Eric Löbbecke born 1966, Vienna, Austria
UNSW art and design MFA of research, multi-disciplinary Artist represented by Stella Downer Fine art.
His latest show “Letters for a Lover” was in 2024, and he just completed a short residency at the Waverley Green bowling following his participation at the Bondi Pavilion Artist residency program in October 2025, where he is continuing painting The Southerly Buster multi panel oil painting on canvas started at the lock up residency in Newcastle.
I worked 32 years as an award-winning political cartoonist on the Australian Newspaper until 2020 and exhibited as a fine artist since 2008.
He also works at the Museum of Contemporary Art part time as an invigilator educator and art gallery guide.
