My work tends to be theme based focusing on issues facing women today and socio-political events affecting the world. I also enjoy working in the landscape, simply to record its unique beauty and healing qualities.
I use text, collage, ink and pastel in works on paper, charcoal is a favourite for drawing building up the surfaces and rubbing back and in painting my preference is oils.
Installations and site specific interactive drawing are areas I am currently experimenting with.
