The work ‘Faded and Down Home’, presents a deconstructed form of the American flag using found textiles and wooden poles. It was originally made for the exhibition: Flag Wavering, in 2016.
Ellis has exhibited widely in Australia and internationally, including awards/residencies: the AGNSW, Paris Studio, the Australia Council, British School at Rome and London Studios and the Redgate Studio, Beijing.
