I enjoy achieving a navigating harmony by play of colour and lines with their symmetrical synchronicity and rhythmic interaction, manipulating hues, creating subtle movement of the optics with their varying refrangibility.

The play of colours is central to my practice; it’s an element of my work that never ceases to excite me. There's always a surprise in how different colours interact on the canvas, and that sense of discovery keeps my process fresh and invigorating.

For me art is both a spiritual practice and a daily discipline. The act of making — deliberate, rhythmic, and immersive — becomes a form of inner stillness, a path to connection to one’s Self. And in this space, free of thought or intention, I experience a quiet joy — a kind of ananda. Realising the consciousness or Self and connecting with this light within becomes also then a path of connecting with the Source and the Universe.
The Self series of works celebrates this connection with the Self.
