This work is based on the ongoing social fragmentation and spreading social disconnectedness within our modern societies. Using acrylic and vinyl the work also explores notions of borrowed and/or artificial culture.
Spending most of my childhood in The Netherlands meant that I was automatically exposed to various De Stijl influenced brands of art, design and architecture. Although I did not immediately follow in this tradition, later on in my career it became clear to me that this style of art came more or less naturally to me.
