The underlying raw material of my work relates to the physical and emotive nature of landscape. The many complex layers of memory and its ever constant changeableness. With mark, pools of colour a thread emerges of marks and line, dashes and dots denoting movement comparative to methods of map making.
My practice is diverse with art making in 2D and 3D sometimes using unorthodox materials focusing on the environment as a catalyst to exploring our interconnectedness with nature. When reflecting on landscape, our pictorial visions underpin the need to review narratives as we face ongoing and future environmental challenges.
