I work in drawing, painting on paper and oils. I have a studio at home and work in there almost daily. My work is abstract but I am always searching for an image that is as recognisable to me as any representational image. I rely on ideas around structures and systems generated by forms of drawing and mark making. Although gestural in execution my aim is for the picture to end up as a quiet statement; meditative.
