One of my art gods is Joseph Albers. This is my homage to his Homage to the Square series.
The quietness of my practice is a response to the visual overload of contemporary urban life. The visual elements in the works are reduced to slow perception and quiet the eye. After conceptualisation, the making is slow. I hope the pieces reflect my own delight in the sense of sight.
