I think of my work as narrative installation, constantly in process. It attempts to represent at least two moments in time through both image and text, neither subordinate to the other.
Born in Alexandria Egypt. From the beginning my practice (which extends over a period of forty years) has explored notions of dislocation and the nature of belonging through the disciplines of writing, photography, and drawing. The organic nature of space and how the work negotiates that space is an integral consideration.
