Books have had a profound influence on my life. They were my escape and opened a door to the world beyond the small country town I grew up in. I'm interested in how a book can feel completely different when you read it years later. The meaning can shift entirely over time. That’s the idea I wanted to explore—to break something apart and rearrange it, and still end up with a meaning that wasn’t originally intended but still feels true to the source.
I am a multidisciplinary artist from the Blue Mountains, Australia. I have spent the last 10 years based in Asia, including Singapore, China, and most recently, Nepal. I work with easily accessible materials, whether sourced from nature, discarded items, or elements of cultural significance. My goal is to produce work that is place based with minimal cost.
