I was a collector of things; items that held the promise of a potential new creation. Carefully and lovingly, I stored them. But a dark cloud of loss lingers over my head now. My collection of things, once full of hope and promise, now, a burden of expired inspiration that are suffocating.
My artistic practice revolves around exploration and experimentation. Using materials in as many ways as possible till I find a place where I am content. Oftentimes, the medium brings the idea. The way the medium flows, feels, cracks, lights up, stops me and relates to something else in the world. Through happy accidents, haphazard blunders and hours of persistence my ‘eureka’ moments materialize.
