Parallels of place :-
The work draws upon a commonality between the geolocations of where I’m from and where I am, although hemispheres apart both locations have significant sandstone rock formations., giving a grounding , a familiarity, a sense of place and a feeling of home. The rubbings / tracings taken from both locations have been interwoven to form one drawing as a reflection of and connection to place.

As a Re-emerging artist I gained a MFA in leeds UK 2000 . After a little hiatus I’ve been re establishing my art making practice and exhibiting work .
