Shelley Watters (she/her) is an emerging artist who resides and creates on the unceded lands of the Gadigal and Wangal peoples. Her practice begins with embodied actions of repair, resilience and resistance. This leads to material research spanning sculpture, installation, performance, photo media, textiles, sound, and video. This year, she was a finalist in the Mullins Conceptual Photography Prize, shortlisted for the Incinerator Art Award: Art for Social Change and presented COMPOST IS SO HOT, a solo exhibition at Airspace Projects.
