Blueprint
.
Pigmented resin and urban surface on fibreglass,
"Blueprint" emerges from urban decay, reclaimed from an industrial estate. With pigmented resin and fiberglass, it brings the imprint of a bygone industry to life. Peelings tell a story of progress and obsolescence, transcending its origin to evoke contemplation on human endeavor and artistic reclamation. Within its layers lies a visual symphony, an ode to the evolution of urban landscapes—a testament to beauty found within decay, a monument to transformation.
At the heart of my artistic practice lies my innovative technique, aptly named "Peeling." Using pigmented resins as both my painting medium and adhesive I reinforce with fibreglass which allows me to physically peel the top layer of urban surfaces creating my abstract urban landscapes.
