I come from an architectural background but have been involved art and exhibiting most of my life. My work is basically a continuing exploration of my understanding of what my world is. The layers of time – geological, cultural, political and personal – that inhabit my existence all play a part in providing impetus to find a visual mark reflecting where I am. I work in a variety of media – acrylic & mixed media, printmaking, drawing and combining my analogue works into digital form and continuing in that realm. Lately I have been experimenting with installations and site-specific works.
