Augmented photography, 1080p x 1920p, 2016
Diffracted light captured through the glass edges of a sliding double window forms the start point in this composition. Shot multiple times and arranged in sequence, the jittery movement is a record of an involuntary shake in the hand of the photographer. Echoed and accentuated by the use of a simple piece of JavaScript generating the random vertical rolls of each assembled column. Becoming a gauge for observed phenomena animated and transformed through repetition. A reversal of focus aimed at opening up associations.
