Therese Kenyon is a Sydney based artist, curator and writer. She has a long exhibition history as a painter/printmaker and is a member of the Ultimo Project Inc artist collective in Marrickville.

These digital works on paper can be read as abstract ‘paintings’ as they are heightened in colour and surface with a constant reference to a particular working environment. The accidental scrapes and lifting paint of abandoned or reassigned buildings become more resonant and mysterious the longer you look. These blue walls housed a former army drill hall, a professional acrobatic group and now an artists’ collective. Using reproductive technology such as my IPhone, Epson printer and computer software to push the image to maximum saturation I have enhanced and recaptured my bluest working studio.
