How do we care and show respect when we step upon the Earth? What are our rituals of practice to honour the earth and how do we share them. Do we carry our own baggage or a collective baggage of stories of places we have inhabited?

With the current post-pandemic world and global warming conversations and debates happening, it feels timely to pursue a recent body of work we have been exploring; a series of performative acts related to nature, that review our relationship with the land. How do we build our concept of home? And how humans shape the environment and their sense of place?

How do we care and show respect when we step upon the Earth? What are our rituals of practice to honour the earth and how do we share them. Do we carry our own baggage or a collective baggage of stories of places we have inhabited?

This is an open invite for all art practitioners to explore this occasion, an art show dedicated to earth as our big home, how through the arts, we depict the theme of yearning. How to transmit a message to the earth using our own practice.

From the opening on the 3rd of March we will show the live projects developing. Over the course of four weeks we will take over the Articulate project space. During the period of the show the artists are expected to use the space to document the progress of the artworks.
