Lesley Giovanelli uses various styles and moods to generate installations which activate the space and personal memory. She plays with colour and fabric transforming domestic elements and clothing into imaginary worlds.
During 3 weeks I will create two or three separate small installations They will include elements from my previous installations such as hanging bags, small houses, furniture and clothing. As previously I am interested in the use of space and colour to activate the space. Each installation plays with a particular colour scheme, style and mood invoking personal memories. In these new installs the extra element of juxtaposition will create rich imaginary worlds.
