THE DAILY is a series of drawings ('the quick (slow)_series') – based on a daily activity. It is in recognition of daily habits and ritual having equivalence
to'what art is'; that 'life + art = life'. It is a nod to Martin Creed’s formularic phrase, 'the whole world + the work = the whole world'. It is an opportunity to view a series of drawings undertaken to record and extend an everyday activity (over a 3 month period) into a systematic abstraction.
