1. Why horizontal line defines landscape in space.
2 Why vertical line is palindromic by nature, intersecting ground/space/form.
3. Why the diagonal is the mysterious vilsible architect/traveller of the interplannar.
Notes: Either or all by definition or absence as in the pre modern visual language/tradition of Heraldics. For relevance, the idea for the show was inspired by discussions with an Australian nun who is the longstanding curate of Bath Cathedral, UK. The image is the Chevron Hotel Elizabeth Bay, the fitst International Style hotel built in Australia.
