Otic Optic [Portals and Voids, 2025]
Otic Optic is an immersive video and sound work presenting thresholds between perception, absence, and transformation. Light fractures into rhythm, colours fold into shadow, and vibrating forms slip between form and formlessness.
Abstract optical patterns act as shifting characters, taken through portals of movement and stillness, depth and dissolution. Sound and image exist in constant dialogue — entwined forces shaping a terrain where orientation dissolves and perception reconfigures.
Frequencies ripple across darkness, bending time and opening fleeting dimensions where energy and matter blur.
Presenting an expanded sensory state — a passage into unstable spaces where the edges of vision and sound merge, as new forms emerge.

My work often has perceptual shifts across light installations, paintings, and material interventions. It is not a question of materiality or formal categories; I investigate culturally embedded meanings and the experiential qualities of site, language, and space. Working within and against architectural spaces, I disrupt the conventional gallery space, creating atmospheric effects that invite viewers to reconsider light, time, and sound. Projects such as The Beauty Arcade merge experimental sound, light, and projections, extending experience beyond the gallery. Working across media — analogue to digital, paint to sound to space, presenting minimal forms with maximal energy.
