site / situation
A reverie for Lizzy Marshall

This exhibition celebrates the life, curatorial practice, and professional career of Lizzy Marshall - curator, educator, writer, mentor, and friend.

site / situation draws from Lizzy’s teaching and long-standing engagement with site-responsive practice and art in the public domain: approaches that consider how meaning is shaped through place, context, encounter, and lived experience. Presented at Articulate Project Space - the site of Lizzy’s final exhibition - the project serves as a tribute, a reflection, and an opportunity to come together.

A reverie is a state between reality and imagination; a daydream shaped by memory, feeling, and association. Bringing together artists who collaborated with Lizzy throughout her career, the exhibition presents a series of responses across media that reflect on shared histories, creative exchanges, and the traces she leaves in artistic practice and community.

site / situation is a delicate meditation on memory, grief, and the quiet joy of remembering.
